Melodic Death Metal with bleak intensity and a critical gaze at modern society. Crushing riffs, relentless grooves and distinctive vocals form a haunting soundscape of decay, anger and resignation.
Since their formation in 2017, the band has made a name for themselves in the Austrian death metal scene – and beyond. Inspired by the melodic death metal of the 1990s and early 2000s, Vermocracy have developed and continuously refined their own distinct style since the beginning of their existence. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2020, followed by „Age of Dysphoria“ in 2022. In January 2026, their third album „Of Failing and Fading“ was released and presented to the audience at a sold-out release show. After selected festival appearances in 2025 (including Kaltenbach Open Air & Break Out Open Air), 2026 will see Vermocracy return with full force – armed with a new record and a clear missionl: back on stage, uncompromising and live.

Das selbstbetitelte Debütalbum erschien 2020, der Nachfolger „Age of Dysphoria“ 2022. Im Jänner 2026 kam mit „Of Failing and Fading“ das dritte Album heraus und wurde bei einer ausverkauften Realase-Show dem Publikum vorgestellt. Nach ausgewählten Festivalauftritten 2025 (u. a. Kaltenbach Open Air & Break Out Open Air) wird 2026 wieder voll auf Angriff geschaltet – mit neuer Platte im Gepäck und dem klaren Ziel: Zurück auf die Bühnen, kompromisslos und live.
